Jennifer B. Turoff, JD
Litigation Associate

Jennifer Turoff is involved with all aspects of the firm’s commercial litigation, dispute resolution and employment transition practice.

Jennifer primarily engages with financial advisors interested in opening their own independent firms or transitioning between firms in connection with the related disputes and negotiations that sometimes accompany such career moves. She has practiced extensively in civil and criminal matters in state and federal courts across the country as well as before the American Arbitration Association. Jennifer is well-versed in all phases of trial and arbitration proceedings, and in addition to representing clients in connection with disputes with private litigants, she has represented clients in formal and informal regulatory and law enforcement inquiries and disciplinary proceedings before the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) as well as other regulatory bodies.

Jennifer received her Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University Law Center. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Northwestern University. She is a member of the Bar of the State of New York and is also admitted to practice in federal court in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Prior to joining the firm, she was associated with two large international law firms. Jennifer previously co-founded her own law firm which represented purchasers and sellers as well as lending institutions in connection with the purchase and sale of real estate.

Jennifer resides in northern New Jersey with her husband and two sons.
